Overview of Duties:
A well-established, family-owned boutique construction management and development consulting firm with offices in San Diego and Orange County seeks a highly organized, motivated individual to join our team. The Client Relationship Representative plays a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with clients and prospects. This self-motivated individual thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment and demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to confidentiality. Reporting to and collaborating with the Client Relationship Executive, this role is focused in Orange County and will be based out of our OC office, with travel throughout Orange and Riverside Counties for events and meetings, and attendance at team meetings in our San Diego office.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
•    Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers, prospects, and existing clients.
•    Provide warm introductions to assigned Project Managers for new clients.
•    Ensure client satisfaction and solicit referral letters.
•    Personally follow up with contacts, including office visits.
•    Create draft proposals for review by senior management.
•    Submit and follow up on final proposals.

Sales & Account Management
•    Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned geographic areas.
•    Make office visits to prospective clients to build relationships and identify opportunities.
•    Manage accounts proactively, working with the Client Relationship Executive to follow up on proposals, track leads, and engage with prospective clients.
•    Assist in setting up new accounts and coordinate with internal departments.
•    Accurately forecast sales results and trends.

Marketing & Community Engagement
•    Collaborate with management to update and improve marketing materials.
•    Working with the Client Relationship Executive, plan and execute company-sponsored educational, outreach, and social events.
•    Attend trade and networking events.
•    Serve on volunteer boards and committees as required.

CRM & Reporting
•    Utilize and update client information in the BuilderTrend CRM system.
•    Track progress and run reports on open proposals.
•    Present updates and plans to the Client Relationship Executive and other internal stakeholders.

Other Duties
•    Assist in developing marketing strategies and tactics.
•    Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Education & Experience:
•    A degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred.
•    3–5 years of sales experience with a proven record of success; property management, HOA, and multifamily experience preferred.
•    Experience in relationship sales preferred.
•    Experience in the apartment or HOA management industry will be considered in lieu of sales experience.

•    Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 and other software as needed.

•    Maintains punctuality and consistent attendance.
•    Possesses a broad sense of humor and affinity for small dogs.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
•    Frequent travel for appointments, meetings, events, and trade shows.
•    May use personal vehicle for business travel; valid driver’s license and insurance required.
•    Remote work requires reliable internet and a distraction-free workspace.

Evening and weekend work may be necessary based on client needs. This is a hybrid position based in our Orange County office, with the ability for some remote work (not more than 20% time).

Salary Range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually (based on experience), plus benefits including healthcare and 401k.
