Volunteers are needed to care for the new plants and remove non-native plants, pick-up trash, and other maintenance tasks.

Join the CAI-OC Outreach Committee on Saturday, September 14th for a Beach Cleanup Event with the Surfrider Foundation.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches so that all people are able to enjoy them. Through conservation, activism, research and education, the Surfrider Foundation strives to preserve our environment.

Bring the whole family! Friends and children are welcome to join us. Beach cleanups are a fun and easy way to volunteer your time and help keep our beaches and ocean clean.
The CAI-OC Outreach Committee will be meeting at Warner Avenue State Beach in Huntington Beach at 8:30AM to pick up trash and other debris from the beach. Free parking passes will be available at the Surfrider tent. Reusable bags will be provided. It is recommended that you bring your own gloves, hat, sunscreen, and reusable water bottle. The cleanup will conclude at noon.

The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.
