Please join us for a candid review of the new election and balloting requirements for California community associations and a discussion of the emerging ideas, trends and strategies related to their effective implementation. 

The subjects to be addressed will include:
  • The new distinction between candidate qualifications and director qualifications
  • New limitations and options for candidate qualifications
  • New, and required, membership notices and disclosures
  • New limitations upon permissible inspectors of election
  • New extended records retention requirements
  • New requirements for ballot distribution (and the potential impact on an association’s choice of record date).
