Guest Speakers:
Marla Brower Hemmel is the founder and President of BHE Management Corporation, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2018. She has been actively managing homeowner associations in Orange County for more than 30 years, affording her a level of expertise rarely found in this field. Hemmel has Chaired and served on several industry committee in Orange County including CAI, the Institute of Real Estate Management, CACM, and the Building Industry Association.
 
Jack Rush is the Vice-President of O’Connell Landscape Maintenance and has been with the company for 29 years.  He is in charge of the Landscape Maintenance Operations for San Diego and a portion of Orange County Operations.  Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Oregon—Class of 1985 - in Marketing and Communications.
 
Dr. Raymond Sfeir is the Director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research and Professor of Economics at Chapman University. He served for eighteen years as Associate Provost and then as Vice Chancellor. Dr. Sfeir teaches microeconomics, statistics and forecasting. His research interests include operations research, capital asset pricing models and applied economics. Dr. Sfeir produces the California, Orange County and Inland Empire forecasts. He also conducts the quarterly survey of purchasing managers in California and is quoted frequently in the media.
