Maintaining the functionality and aesthetic appeal of homeowner’s associations is often challenging, always time consuming, and usually expensive. Learn from some of the most experienced professionals in HOA management, finance, construction and maintenance, and reserves. This interactive discussion will educate attendees on the types of capital-intensive projects encountered in maintaining common interest developments and how to recognize them in your communities. The program will illustrate a step-by-step process to assembling a team of community members, service providers, and outside experts to work with management and boards in recognizing the challenges, understanding the options, deciding upon a financial plan, and managing the major refurbishment projects an association can expect to undertake.
Three Learning Objectives
- What to look for in your community / is it included in the Reserve Study?
- How to develop a team of people to analyze the circumstances and offer potential solutions.
- Options available to fund the inevitable expenditures.
