January Educational Luncheon - Dealing with Toxins

Are there harmful substances in your community? In your home? Some toxins may not be obvious but may greatly affect your surroundings. Join us in learning about what toxins are most commonly found in communities and how you can address them safely and quickly!

Guest Speakers: 
Charles R. Fenton is a Partner in the law firm of Fenton Grant Mayfield Kaneda & Litt, LLP.  Mr. Fenton’s practice concentrates on the representation of community associations: condominium/town home, high-rise residential projects, condominium conversions and consumers in complex multi-party matters relating to construction defects.  He has been a member of several local Chapter Boards of Directors and has held the office of President of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of Community Associations Institute. 

Michael Haynes, Air Quality Insp. III, Toxic and Waste Unit Lead Instructor: Asbestos Compliance Class Current Assignments: Lead Smelters, Battery Manufacturing Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plants and VOC Contaminated Soil Remediation Projects Certificates: Hazwhopper, First Responder Training, Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Haz Waste and Homeland Security-Bio Terrorism. Mr. Haynes is a 30-year plus, veteran in the Compliance and Enforcement Division -Air toxic and Waste Management unit of the SCAQMD, a regional Governmental Agency.
