Educational Luncheon/Mini Trade Show - "Housing in California"

As housing costs reach all-time highs throughout the state, Californians are getting creative and finding ways to manage those costs. With increases in the number of people living in a home, and less money available to care for their properties associations and cities are feeling the impact in a number of ways. Join us to hear about how associations and cities are dealing with issues such as:

  • Deferred maintenance
  • Granny Flats, garage conversions and short term rentals
  • Side hustle – running a business out of your home

Guest Speakers:

Robert M. DeNichilo, Esq., CCAL is a Partner at Nordberg | DeNichilo, LLP.  In addition to being a highly regarded attorney with a practice that focuses on the representation of Homeowners Associations throughout California, Robert loves to shoot things, being an amateur photographer on his off hours.

Robert is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of community association topics and believes that education of boards and managers is the key to successful associations. Robert is a fellow of the College of Community Association Lawyers, serves on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of CAI, and is a delegate to CAI’s California legislative action committee.

Bill Jacobs is a Principal Planner with the City of Irvine. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, with additional certification in Environmental Planning. He has 30 years of municipal planning experience, including the Cities of Santa Barbara, Burbank, and Victorville. He has recently completed a mixed-use residential development strategy and implementation plan for the 2,700-acre Irvine Business Complex, and he is currently overseeing a comprehensive update to the City’s General Plan.

Arielle Marion, CMCA, AMS, PCAM with Vintage Group, has been in the Community Management field since 2005 and is currently the Director of Community Management at Vintage Group.  She obtained her PCAM in 2015. She currently oversees the growing management team and is responsible for training and new development.  She loves to mentor and develop relationships with her team and clientele. Arielle, like Robert, also likes to shoot things, and we will leave it at that.
