August Educational Luncheon- "Managing Your Social Media Presence"
Social media and websites do not have to be a negative drain on your community. Social media can be used for positive purposes. While we will avoid a simple, “how-to” program, as we walk through real life examples, you will learn how social media can strengthen community engagement and improve communication with owners. We’ll discuss topics such as:
- Creating social media training and policies for your board members and managers
- How to select the best social media platform to accomplish your goals
- What can or should not be posted
- Managing expectations for social media usage and communication
- Avoiding liability when using social media
- Encouraging positive interaction with the community
