High-Tension Living: Harassment in Community Associations
This course will discuss harassment within community associations in various forms – we’ll touch on harassment directed towards management, staff, Board members and vendors, as well as alleged harassment by these parties, but the primary focus of this program will be the Association’s role with respect to neighbor-to-neighbor issues. We’ll discuss:
  • When should (must) the board get involved?
  • Fair Housing Act/HUD considerations 
  • Remedial tools and strategiesm
  • What NOT to do
  • When to involve legal counsel
  • When to notify the HOA’s insurance  carrier(s)
