Volunteers and staff work together to create special events and clubs which contributes to the charm and sense of community living.The Finance Manager position reports directly to the General Manager and currently oversees the staff of one full-time assistant.The position will be responsible for all financial functions including but not limited to:A/R, A/P, Collections, General Ledger, Budget, Reserve Study, Payroll, Personnel Records, Investments, Insurance (Employee and Association), Escrow Processing, Finance Committee Liaison, and additional administrative duties.Desirable Qualifications:.Degree in accounting or equivalent experience..Three years (+) experience in accounting (A/P, A/R, preparation of financial reports, G/L reporting accounting, month end reporting, analysis of cash flow and proformas)..Human Resource and payroll knowledge..Experience with community association management. (CCAM Preferred).Ability to work independently..Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Excel. A knowledge of TOPS Software would be a plus..Experience in supervision/leadership..Excellent written and verbal communication skills..Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills..Proven ability to work well under pressure and deadlines..Demonstrates ability to train and educate staff..Customer Service, telephone and personal contact skills..Must have California Drivers license and provide proof of insurance..Must be able to work some weekends and evenings, as assigned.
